Emloyment of young people at risk groups in Czech republic

Thesis "Employment risk groups of young people in the Czech Republic," focuses on young people leaving institutional care. In the Czech Republic, emerging from the economic crisis and unemployment is still high. For young people it is difficult to find jobs, because they lack the neccessary practical experience. The situation of young people leaving institutional care is even worse. These young people are applying for the job market disadvantage because they lack family support. The only support they are halfway houses to help them during the spin-offs and adaptations of the professional role. The experience of workers Halfway House Maják shows that what is important is the individual approach to clients. This approach should be employed during the election of a professional role that is also very important.

LEGAL REGULATIONS OF UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS IN CZECH REPUBLIC AND IN SELECTED COUNTRIES This graduation thesis describes and analyzes legal regulations of unemployment benefits in Czech Republic and in Sweden. Main reason why I have chosen that topic could be seen in the fact that in both countries exist two different systems. In Czech Republic we have compulsory state system of unemployment benefits but Sweden is one of four European countries where we can find so-called Ghent system. Sweden is also known as typical example of welfare state, so I came to conclusion it could be interesting to focus attention also to this matter and its influence to the topic. The aim of the thesis is to compare both systems, individual institutes of this problematic, focus on main differences and also point out common rules and principles. The thesis involves an introduction, main part and conclusion. The main part is divided into seven chapters. The first one presents explanation of unemployment, its different types and consequences. Following two chapters concern development of legal regulations of this problematic both in Czech Republic (also in Czechoslovakia) and in Sweden. Maternity and Parenthood through the view of Labour Law and Social Security Law Abstract This theses deals with the social event of pregnancy, maternity and parenthood in the wider labour and social contexts. The aim of this theses is to analyse the individual stages of the employee's working life based on the birth of the child. Attention is paid to the maternity and parental leave, with particular reference the limited possibilities termination of employment during their drawing. In this context, the different types of financial benefits belonging to parents taking care of children, whose purpose is to compensate for the loss of income or dampening of gainful activities resulting from the necessary personal care of a child. The theses also deals with the interconnection of individual institutes of labour law and social security law in terms of employee's participation in the system of sickness, pension and public health insurance, taking into account the specific conditions of participation of insured persons in these systems while they are taking maternity and parental leave, or receiving sickness insurance or state social support benefits. This diploma thesis entitled "Welfare during unemployment" analyses the current legislation of the unemployment benefits in the Czech Republic and its individual aspects. The thesis focuses on a wide range of applicative and practical problems associated with it. Considering the systematic perspective, the thesis is divided into six chapters. The first part of the thesis provides a theoretical introduction, which is the basis for the understanding of the problem of unemployment in general. A reader gets familiar with its types, importance for individuals and also the consequences of loss of employment. Also, this chapter explains the reason why the different percentages have been reported in the unemployment statistics. On one hand, it is caused by the double calculation performed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and by the Czech Statistical Office on the other. The key concept of legal relations in employment is the right to work as a fundamental social right enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, which is further discussed in the second chapter. The mandatory expenditures in the Czech Republic and national employment policy

This bachelor thesis deals with the mandatory expenditures in the Czech Republic. The first part of the work is devoted to the concept, characteristic, structure and development of mandatory expenditures. The second part of the work analyzes national employment policy, especially unemployment benefits. The third part offers possible methods that should reduce unemployment benefits.

This thesis analyzes the development of mandatory expenditures in the Czech Republic, especially unemployment benefits for the years 2010 and 2011. In the first part of the work I analyze in detail the structure of mandatory expenditures and graphically depicts their development until 2010. The second chapter is devoted to the national employment policy and its structure. Detail is characterized by an active employment policy and its instruments. The final chapter is devoted to passive employment policy, development and the amount of unemployment benefits and whether this contribution may discourage work.
